Chris Bennett

Chris is the name on every Google review and the person who surveys the jobs, runs the work and signs the guarantees. The Skyguard Group isn't a faceless holding company — it's what happened when one tradesman's way of working turned out to suit more than one trade.

The rule is the same in all three businesses: if you can't back a claim with a number, a name or a photo, don't make it. That's why the roofs come with real manufacturer guarantees, the websites go live in about a week, and the prints ship exactly as shown.

The story

How Skyguard grew

  1. 2008

    It started on a roof

    Chris Bennett began fitting single ply flat roofing in Kilnhurst, South Yorkshire — welded membranes done properly, never cheap fibreglass. Word spread on the quality of the work, not the size of the ads.

  2. Since then

    Roofing that outgrew the town

    Skyguard Flat Roofing grew from local garages and extensions to commercial roofs nationwide — an award-winning detail at New College, Oxford, a 28,000 m² data centre, and NHS, Tesco and leisure projects. Still owner-run, still 5.0★ on Google.

  3. More recently

    Helping other trades get found

    After seeing how much work a proper website brought in, Chris started building sites and branding for other trades and local shops. Skyguard Digital was born — fast, no-jargon websites that win work, live in about a week.

  4. 2025

    A creative streak

    RIOT Prints launched as the group’s creative label — bold, high-contrast poster art of sport, music and culture, printed with care and shipped across the UK.
